1. Contract

  1. 1.1. A Contract for the provision of training services is formed between Quest, the Student and the Fee Payer when Quest accepts the enrolment for a Student on a Training Programme by confirmation e-mail. The Contract is subject to these Terms & Conditions.
  2. 1.2. All enrolments are subject to interview with the Student and Quest reserves the right to refuse an application for any reason by the Fee Payer for a Student. The payment of any sum intended to be in respect of Fees by or on behalf of the Student does not oblige Quest to accept enrolment.
  3. 1.3. A contract for the administration of an application to enrol on a Training Programme is formed between Quest, the Student and the Fee Payer when the application is made and administration fee paid. This separate contract is also subject to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Deposits, Fees & Payments

  1. 2.1. To apply for a place on a Training Programme, a non-refundable administration fee of £100 is required. In paying this fee the Fee payer agrees for Quest to carry out the service of administering an application for the Training Programme. This will temporarily reserve a place on the course until a Student's enrolment is accepted.
  2. 2.2. The Student and Fee Payer will provide Quest with all information reasonably requested by Quest in connection with the Training Programme.
  3. 2.3. Once Quest has accepted the enrolment of a Student on a Training Programme a non-refundable deposit of £1,000 (subject to Clause 3 below) against the first term's Fees is requested by Quest via email once the enrolment has been completed and a Student's enrolment is accepted. The Fee Payer agrees that at this point Quest may commence the provision of the services in providing the Training Programme requested. The deposit guarantees the Student's place on their selected Training Programme, until the balance of Fees is due.
  4. 2.4. If a Student changes their mind after enrolling on a course, the enrolment Fee and/or deposit payment cannot be refunded (subject to Clause 3 below).
  5. 2.5. Fees are paid termly in advance. Invoices are payable 1 month prior to the commencement of each term. Term dates are as published on the Quest website. No Student will be allowed to commence a Training Programme unless the term's payment has been received in full. Students who have not paid on time may lose their place on the course.
  6. 2.6. Any sum paid that is less than the sum due and owing in respect of Fees may be accepted by Quest on account only. Late payment charges may be applied to the balance of Fees as set out in Clause 5 and Quest reserves the right to refuse to allow the Student to participate in the course until payment has been received in full.
  7. 2.7. All published course Fees are inclusive of 20% VAT.
  8. 2.8. The Fees are exclusive of travel, accommodation, subsistence, personal insurance or other costs that might arise prior to or during the term of the Training Programme.
  9. 2.9. All Fees must be paid in pounds sterling. Any currency conversion costs or other charges incurred in connection with the payment of Fees are to be borne by the Fee Payer.

3. Cooling Off Period

  1. 3.1. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 ("Consumer Contracts Regulations") where you have purchased a service by e-mail, fax or telephone you may cancel your purchase of a Training Programme within a period of 14 calendar days from the date of acceptance ("the Cancellation period") of your enrolment by e-mail. You must inform Quest of your decision to cancel by e-mail or in writing, a cancellation form is provided in Schedule 1. On valid cancellation and in accordance with these terms you will be entitled to a full refund of course Fees subject to the following limitations:
  1. This does not apply to the administration fee.
  2. This only applies to contracts concluded on our website, or by e-mail, fax and telephone with no face to face meeting at Quest's business premises.
  3. If you cancel your purchase within the cancellation period you will be liable to return any course materials received from Quest and will be liable for the cost of returning those materials and Quest reserves the right to withhold payment of part or all of your Fees until all goods have been returned.
  4. Your right to cancel and obtain any refund will be lost if you have given Quest express consent to commence, or requested that Quest commence the supply of any services during the Cancellation period and the service has been fully performed.
  5. If express consent is given but the service is only part performed you will be liable to pay for the services actually received.
  6. If the contract is for the supply of programme materials which are in a digital content, your right to cancel and obtain any refund will be lost if you have requested and given Quest express consent to supply the digital content during the Cancellation period.

4. Fees Subject to Change

  1. 4.1. Quest reserves the right to amend course Fees from time to time at its discretion (i) in line with inflation (RPI) or (ii) by an increase up to 10% greater than the Fees previously applicable to the Training Programme to reflect increased costs of delivering the programme.
  2. 4.2. Quest shall notify you of any increases in Fees as soon as practicably possible.
  3. 4.3. Fees are published separately for each term on the website and are payable by all Students studying at the time, unless they have paid full Fees prior to the publication of the new Fees.
  4. 4.4. Paying a deposit does not prevent any Fee increase being applied.

5. Overdue Account

  1. 5.1. Quest reserves the right to charge interest on any Fees still outstanding 30 days after the due date for payment, at the rate of 4% per annum above the base rate of Bank of England then in force, accruing daily from the date that the payment became due.

7. Visas, Permissions, Consents

  1. 7.1. The Student warrants that it has all necessary visas, permission and consents required for their participation in the Training Course in the UK. 8. Refund Policy

  1. 8.1. Fees are non-refundable (Subject to Clause 3) and no reduction in Fees will be made for absence.
  2. 8.2. Once the Training Programme has commenced, the Fee Payer is liable for the Fees for the whole Training Programme.
  3. 8.3. If a Fee Payer wishes to cancel a reserved place on a Training Programme, three months' clear notice in writing must be received by Quest prior to the start date of that Training Programme. If such notice is not given, all Fees will be due and payable. In all cases of cancellation, enrolment and deposit payments are non-refundable (subject to Clause 3).
  4. 8.4. Quest reserves the right to cancel or postpone a Training Programme if the minimum number of Students have not enrolled. In the unlikely event of cancellation, all money paid, including the Administration fee, by the Fee Payer to Quest will be refunded.
  5. 8.5. If the chosen Training Programme is fully booked and there is no space for another Student in the class, the enrolment Fee will be refunded.
