Terms & Conditions
General
A "Quest" means Quest Professional.
B The "Student" means the person named as student on the enrolment
form.
C The "Fee Payer" means the person with whom Quest contracts
for the provision of training for the student.
D "Training" means the provision of specified training programmes
as described in the prospectus, website and associated literature. The content of
each training programme may from time to time be altered at the discretion of the
Quest and no warranty express or implied is given regarding timing, content or quality.
E All agreements made between Quest and the fee payer for the
provision of training (called the "Contract"), shall be subject to these Terms &
Conditions. A contract is formed between Quest and the fee payer when Quest
accepts the enrolment for a student on a training programme.
F Any representation made by Quest prior to the contract, whether
orally or in writing, is expressly excluded.No servant or agent of Quest has
any authority to vary or add to these terms and conditions except with Quest's
confirmation in writing, signed by the Business Manager.
G Quest reserves the right to refuse an application by the
fee payer for a student.
H Quest reserves the right to change the timing and/or content
of any training programme and to substitute any tutor at any time.
Fees
A non-refundable £100.00 enrolment fee will be required upon enrolment. This will temporarily reserve a student’s place on their selected training programme, until a further deposit is requested.
A non-refundable deposit of £700 against the first term’s fees is requested by Quest
when places for a particular training programme become limited.
Fees will be invoiced
and are payable ten working days prior to commencement of the training programme.
No student will be allowed to commence a training programme unless payment in full
has been received. Quest shall be entitled to increase the fees at its discretion.
Quest shall be entitled to charge interest on any amount outstanding 30 days after the due date for payment, at the rate of five per cent above the base rate
of the NatWest Bank plc then in force.
Notice
Fees are not refundable, nor can any reduction be made for absence. Once the training
programme has commenced the person signing the enrolment form is liable for the
fees for the whole training programme. If a fee payer wishes to cancel a reserved
place on a training programme, three month's clear notice in writing must be received
by Quest prior to the start date of that training programme. If such notice
is not given, all fees will be due and payable. Quest reserves the right to
cancel a training programme if the minimum number of students have not enrolled.
Special Educational Needs
It is important that Quest is fully informed of any special educational needs
such as dyslexia or dyspraxia. Extra time may be offered in external examinations,
provided that this is on the recommendation of a valid educational psychologist's
report.
Conduct
The Director reserves the right to remove from Quest any student whose attendance
or conduct is in her absolute discretion unacceptable. Ninety five per cent attendance
is required from a student in order to achieve Quest Certification. Where a student
misses a session for whatever reason, Quest is not obliged to reschedule a replacement
and no refund of fees will be given.
External Examinations
External examination fees are payable by the student. Students are entered for external
examinations at the discretion of Quest, subject to prior payment of examination
fees.
Damage
The fee payer will be held liable for the cost of repairing any damage caused by
the student.
Dress
Smart casual wear is required.
Personal Property
Quest takes no responsibility for loss or damage to a student's personal property.
Training programme Material
Training programme Material remains the property of Quest and should not be
removed from Quest.
