Is the Professional Diploma PLUS Programme For You?

The Professional Diploma PLUS Programme offers a unique course for both those students who are required to remain in studies for two years as a consequence of the Raised Participation Age, and those students who wish to gain a comprehensive understanding of both the skills and knowledge needed in a broad range of different industries and careers. Developed specifically to suit students who have not yet decided what career path they wish to take, the Professional Diploma PLUS Programme empowers young people to make the right choices and begin a rewarding career with all the tools they will need to succeed.

Enrol on the Professional Diploma PLUS Programme

The two year training programme focusses holistically on both students’ professional and personal development through a balanced course in which interlinked subjects increasingly build on one another to ensure that students gradually build their skills and confidence as they work towards the goal of taking their first steps in business.

The first year provides a thorough introduction into the core skills and competencies required in business, ranging from basic skill-based modules such as IT and Office Skills through to introductory modules providing an overview of areas including Current Affairs, Business Studies, Digital Media and Advertising.

Year two builds on this learning with more practical project driven work, in addition to a more in-depth insight into each business sector with focused modules on Business Law, Finance, Marketing and Events. Additionally students undertake a thorough series of careers guidance sessions, ensuring that upon graduation they are interview-ready and equipped with the skills and attitude needed to face the challenges presented to them by their next employer. This, combined with the programme’s comprehensive and thorough training, ensures that students on the Professional Diploma PLUS Programme leave us with a multitude of job opportunities open to them.

Throughout the entire learning journey with Quest Professional, students complete a Personal Development Programme enabling them to develop their confidence and self-reflection skills, and better understand where they fit into a team and how their behaviour influences others. This unique feature of Quest Professional’s training enables us to transform young learners into young professionals.
